Wine storage advice?

Ok my wife and I went back out to NY Wine Country this past weekend and bought a couple more cases of wine(4). I now will have well over 90 bottles of wine in my basement and decided that I need some type of storage solution. Keeping them in cases on the floor in the basement is no longer working.
I have two options;
Build a walk in(DIY) type of enclosure in my basement and add some type of cooling system, which I have to assume will cost me at least $1000 to do, not counting my labor. The positive is that I could build it large enough to hold at least 200 bottles, so I can grow into it.
Buy a wine cooler, not the fridge types that are only good for up to one year, but a better quality cooler for longer term storage. I have found one online for about $750, but do not know much about the company, I have provided the link. http://www.beveragefactory.com/wine...VP110%5CW.shtml
That particular model will hold 110 bottles and I could keep my normal everyday wines that will be consumed within 1 to 2 months in the basement like I am doing now. My basement is probably around 62 right now. I can keep the wine cooler in the HT room behind the bar and also be able to keep some other items in their so I do not need to buy a separate fridge for the HT.
Both have their pros and cons, what do the wine experts think for keeping the wine cool? I normally do not keep a bottle of wine for more than 2 years, but that has the potential to change.
-------------------- Wine and cooking is almost as much an obsession as HT for me!
